We've heard reports of other Australian brake distributors requiring vendors to sign exclusivity contracts, or demanding pre-payment for inventory (which then arrives months late). GFI Distribution engages in none of this BS.

GFI Distribution offers a sophisticated drop-shipping service which operates as follows: The dealer retains their discount band, freight costs are re-charged to the dealers' account, and a nominal drop-ship fee applies.
​
Our drop-shipping service allows dealers to remain highly responsive to the huge variety of vehicles found on Aussie roads, even if they themselves don't have a product in stock.
​
This allows dealers to leverage GFI's considerable inventory to generate profit, without ever handling the product themselves.

Our Returns Policies
Less Than
30 Days
GFI's 30-day NQA returns policy eliminates the risk of dealers being stranded with unwanted resaleable stock.
This policy is designed to protect shops and garages who purchase parts for an upcoming job or customer order, but due to unforeseen circumstances things don't go ahead as planned (e.g. customer cancels last minute).

Any items returned less than 30 days from the date of sale, for whatever reason, in an un-installed, un-damaged condition will be credited to the dealers account.
​
No re-stocking fee will be charged, however the dealer pays for return freight.
GFI may also accept the return of product more than 30 days from the date of sale, subject to our obsolete product policy and subject to a nominal re-stocking fee.

This generous policy is intended to incentivise dealers to hold stock, especially for popular items, knowing that they can return non obsolete stock for partial credit.

GFI sets no time limit for warranty returns. We work alongside our dealers and suppliers to determine whether a product is defective and take appropriate steps to achieve a satisfactory outcome.
​
Warranty returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis, but you can rest assured knowing GFI is on our dealers' side and that our ultimate goal is to always ensure your customer goes away happy. It is also worth noting that EBC warranty returns are extremely rare.
